Effects of Teacher Training in Systems Thinking on Biology Students—An Intervention Study

Systems thinking provides many advantages in solving complex scientific, economic and sociocultural problems the field of education for sustainable development. Various studies have shown that systems can be promoted students at all levels school education. Previous mainly focused on how to directly develop support students. The present study biology teachers by investigating extent their content knowledge (CK) pedagogical (PCK) augments attending classes. On basis finding are an essential aspect any type training, we investigated a teacher training program effects varying amounts CK PCK ability foster Therefore, quasi-experimental intervention was implemented pre- posttest control group design. results revealed sufficiently improve plays least equally important role as promoting thinking.
